Cinnamon Roll Filling

Ingredients

1 1/4 C All Purpose Flour

1/2 Vanilla Protein Powder, I prefer plant protein instead of whey for baking

2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon

1 Tbsp Orange Zest
-
1 C Fat Free Greek Yogurt, vanilla

2 Tbsp Butter
Filling:
-
2 Tbsp Butter
-
Cinnamon
Icing:
-
1 Cup Greek Yogurt, Vanilla
-
⅓ cup of Maple Syrup
-
1 tsp of Vanilla extract
Instructions:
Serving size 1 roll

Preheat an oven to 350F.

Mix the dry cinnamon roll ingredients in a large bowl before adding the Greek yogurt and 2 tablespoons of butter .

Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper sprayed with nonstick cooking spray and use your hands to form a ball of dough.

Roll the dough with a rolling pin into a large square.

Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and mix in the remaining cinnamon. Spread it evenly across the dough before rolling it.

Use a knife to slice the roll into 10 pieces.

Bake for 18-22 minutes or until they're cooked through in the center.

Mix all of the icing ingredients while rolls are baking.

Once rolls are baked, spread the icing evenly over all the rolls!
